Pemkot Tangerang gandeng FKDM cegah konflik selama Pilkada

Bantentoday – Pemkot Tangerang Banten mengandeng Forum Kewaspadaan Dini Masyarakat (FKDM) untuk melakukan pencegahan konflik selama Pilkada dengan melakukan pemetaan dan mitigasi.

“Kewaspadaan dini adalah salah satu langkah strategis yang harus kita ambil untuk mencegah potensi konflik yang mungkin timbul akibat perbedaan pendapat dan kepentingan dalam masyarakat,” kata Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Kota Tangerang Herman Suwarman, Rabu (11/9/2024).

Kata Herman, Pemkot Tangerang berkomitmen dan terus berupaya untuk mendukung terwujudnya keamanan dan ketertiban Pemilihan Kepala dan Wakil Kepala Daerah khususnya di Kota Tangerang.

“Semua pihak harus mampu menjaga kondusivitas dan menciptakan suasana yang harmonis, khususnya mulai dari tingkat kelurahan,” ucap Herman.

Menurutnya, perlu upaya untuk memperkuat kewaspadaan dini dan mempersiapkan diri menghadapi berbagai potensi konflik yang mungkin timbul.

“Sangat penting bagi FKDM untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam mendeteksi dan mencegah potensi konflik,” papar Sekda Herman.
