Dinkes Tangsel catat 461 kasus DBD selama periode Januari-Mei 2024

Bantentoday – Selama periode Januari-Mei 2024, Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Kota Tangerang Selatan (Tangsel) Provinsi Banten mencatat sebanyak 461 kasus penyakit demam berdarah dengue (DBD) di daerah itu.

“Kasus terbanyak berada di Kecamatan Pamulang dengan terdapat 91 kasus. Kemudian di Kecamatan Serpong ada 86 kasus, Ciputat 73 kasus, Pondok Aren 65 kasus, Serpong Utara 63 kasus, Setu 42 kasus, dan Ciputat Timur 41 kasus,” kata Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Tangsel Allin Hendalin Mahdaniar di Tangerang Selasa (21/5/2024).

Ucap Allin, penyebaran penyakit DBD saat ini sudah dapat dikendalikan dibandingkan pada bulan sebelumnya.

“Kalau kita lihat data, Maret merupakan kasus tertinggi hingga 167 kasus. Tapi, kalau berdasarkan data grafik laporan bulanan dari awal tahun, April dan Mei kasus DBD sudah bisa dikendalikan,” katanya.

Dengan penemuan kasus tersebut, upaya melakukan pengendalian DBD melalui pengendalian jentik dan nyamuk penular serta upaya membatasi kematian karena penyakit tersebut terus dilakukan.

Ia berharap, untuk menekan penyebaran DBD masyarakat dapat menggerakkan satu rumah satu jumantik.

Namun, yang terpenting, kata Allin menambahkan, di setiap rumah bisa melakukan 3M plus (menguras, menutup, mendaur ulang, dan menghindari gigitan nyamuk) secara rutin.

“Kami berharap supaya DBD di Tangsel bisa ditekan, masyarakat harus punya kesadaran sendiri bagaimana bisa melakukan 3M plus di rumahnya masing masing,” katanya.
