Bus Tayo angkut 18.681 orang selama libur Lebaran 2024

Bantentoday – Dinas Perhubungan Kota Tangerang mencatat jumlah penumpang Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Tayo selama libur Lebaran mencapai 18.681 orang.

“Hal ini menunjukan bahwa BRT semakin diminati masyarakat di Kota Tangerang. Kita mencatat peningkatan jumlah penumpang secara signifikan selama libur Lebaran 2024,” kata Kepala Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) Kota Tangerang Achmad Suhaely di Tangerang, Kamis (18/4).

Menurutnya, antusias masyarakat sangat luar biasa dalam memanfaatkan BRT Tayo, mulai dari digunakan untuk kepentingan mendukung arus mudik sampai moda wisata dalam kota seiring dengan libur Lebaran kemarin.

“Jumlah penumpang yang menggunakan layanan pembayaran secara nontunai (Tap on Bus) juga semakin maksimal,” ujarnya.

Berdasarkan data yang dihimpun selama sepekan libur Lebaran tanggal 8 – 16 April 2024 terdapat 16.037 penumpang yang memanfaatkan layanan tersebut secara nontunai.

Selain itu, Dishub Kota Tangerang berharap tren positif tersebut dapat mempengaruhi pola kebiasaan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan layanan transportasi umum di Kota Tangerang.

“Kami berharap antusias ini dapat terus berkembang sehingga memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengembangan transportasi umum di Kota Tangerang,” katanya.
