BI Banten: Pariwisata Banten Mirip dengan Bali

Bantentoday – Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia (BI) Banten mendorong kemajuan pariwisata di provinsi Banten tumbuh pesat dan berkembang.

“Provinsi Banten memiliki cukup banyak potensi wisata yang mirip dengan Provinsi Bali, seperti lahan pertanian, persawahan, laut dan pegunungan. Hampir semua wilayah di Provinsi Banten punya tempat wisata unggulan masing-masing, sekitar 9.667 kilometer persegi,” kata Deputi Kepala Perwakilan BI Banten Hario Kartiko Pamungkas, di Serang, Banten, Senin (25/9).

Katanya, Provinsi Banten juga memiliki kawasan ekonomi khusus (KEK) sebagai penunjang pariwisata dan perekonomian daerah yang dapat dikunjungi.

“Maka dari itu kami mengajak rekan media, Bapenda Provinsi Banten, dan para akademisi berkunjung ke Bali agar dapat mengadopsi kemajuan wisata di Bali untuk kemajuan pariwisata di Banten sehingga Banten bisa menjadi tujuan wisata utama kedepannya,” katanya.

Ia juga berharap setelah kegiatan kunjungan ini para akademisi dan media memiliki ide untuk pengembangan pariwisata di Provinsi Banten, yang tentunya sesuai dengan tugas pokok serta fungsi dari masing-masing peserta.
