Amankan TPS, Satpol PP Kota Tangerang siapkan gastib di Pilkada serentak 2024

Bantentoday – Satpol PP Kota Tangerang Banten mulai membentuk petugas ketertiban (gastib) untuk mengamankan tempat pemungutan suara (TPS) dalam Pilkada serentak 2024 mendatang.

“Akan ada dua personel petugas gastib yang disebar di masing-masing TPS. Kota Tangerang telah menyiapkan 2.689 TPS yang tersebar di seluruh wilayah. Kita akan siapkan petugas ketertiban untuk kelancaran,” kata Plt Kepala Satpol PP Kota Tangerang Irman Puja Hendra di Tangerang Sabtu (27/7).

Kata Irman, pembentukan petugas ketertiban juga berkoordinasi dengan seluruh perangkat yang terlibat dalam proses persiapan menjelang Pilkada 2024.

Mulai dari Satpol PP Kota Tangerang, Kepala Seksi Ketentraman dan Ketertiban (Trantib) se-Kota Tangerang, Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kota Tangerang, sampai Panitia Pemilihan Kecamatan (PPK) se-Kota Tangerang.

“Ini sesuai dengan amanat yang tertuang dalam Peraturan Menteri Dalam Negeri No. 26 Tahun 2020 serta Peraturan KPU No. 8 Tahun 2022. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menjamin kelancaran selama Pilkada 2024 mendatang,” katanya.

Berdasarkan data KPU Kota Tangerang jumlah Daftar Pemilih Tetap (DPT) kota Tangerang bertambah 22.422 jiwa dibanding pemilu 2024. DPT Kota Tangerang pada Pemilu (Pileg dan Pilpres) 2024 sejumlah 1.362.733 jiwa. Sedangkan untuk Pemilu Kepala Daerah berdasarkan DP4 sejumlah 1.385.155 jiwa.
