Bantentoday – Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Tangerang, Banten berencana menggelar uji coba makan bergizi gratis (MBG) kepada 3.630 siswa di kota tersebut pada 1 Agustus 2024 mendatang.

Kota Tangerang ditunjuk oleh Wantannas untuk menjalankan proyek percontohan MBG dari Presiden Terpilih Periode 2024-2029 yang dilaksanakan pada 5-9 Agustus 2024.

“Rencananya diujicobakan kepada 3.630 siswa dari enam sekolah yang terdiri atas dua Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan dua Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri serta satu SD dan satu SMP swasta di Kota Tangerang,” kata Pj Wali Kota Tangerang Nurdin, Jum’at (19/7).

Keenam sekolah tersebut adalah SD Negeri Sukasari 4, SD Negeri Sukasari 5, SMP Negeri 4 Tangerang, MIN 1 Kota Tangerang, serta SD dan SMP Asy-Syukriah.

“Ini adalah bentuk keseriusan dalam upaya kita untuk mendukung kesuksesan program makan bergizi gratis dari Presiden Terpilih 2024-2029, dan Kota Tangerang siap menjadi role model pelaksanaan program tersebut bagi daerah lain di seluruh Indonesia,” katanya.

Menurutnya, berbagai persiapan sudah dalam tahap final dan siap untuk dilaksanakan seperti pemilihan menu agar memenuhi standar gizi seimbang, termasuk dalam hal kebersihan dan higienis makanannya.

“Dimana UMKM-UMKM yang terlibat telah diberikan pelatihan oleh pemkot dan memiliki atau dalam proses Sertifikasi Laik Higiene Sanitasi (SLHS),” katanya.
